Amala Hospital began its journey in 1987 as a modest dispensary, serving the basic healthcare needs of the local community. Recognising the growing demand for structured medical services, the facility was upgraded and formally converted into a hospital in 2004.
The hospital was founded by the dedicated Sisters of Sacred Hearts, Mananthawady Province, with a vision to extend holistic healthcare services to all sections of society, especially the underserved.
Guided by Christian values, Amala Hospital Pattavayal continues to reflect the epitome of Jesus Christ’s love, compassion, and care through every aspect of its service.
